Pretty in Pink.

Elise Berger has really outdone herself with her s/s 11 collection of her label Borne. The collection's been rightly named 'Little Series', because everything about does seem quite simple, in a good way. Although the while collection is pink and covered in ruffles, not to mention flowers, it does still feel very tom-boyish. I think it's the model that does this, her expression has the 'too cool for school' thing going on throughout. I know that I'll be checking the price tags because you never know, christmas is coming up and maybe I'll get lucky! Probably not.. but a girl can dream.

La Pretty Editorial.

This is such a gorgeous editorial from Paris Vogue, I love everything about it. The clothes are all lovely and the soft colouring also adds a nice touch. Probably my favorite thing about these pictures is the little kid. She's so cute in the second picture when she's trying to pose,  Bless.
I actually had to make the layout of my blog wider to fit these pictures in, as they're enormous. I could, of course, have just made them a bit smaller, but the option down from this is like a quarter of the size.

Am I Britain's Next Top Model??? No.

Britain's Next Top Model was amazing. I went with a few friends and we got loads of freebies, and the best bit of it all was the catwalk. Originally we were meant to be sitting way at the back, but there were some VIP seats left over and so the security guard let us sit there instead. Some of the clothes worn by the models were quite cool but the clothes weren't really the main part of the show. There were dancers, smoke and music all wrapped around twelve almost in-human figures. I also got to meet the contestants, and see Eliza Doolittle live. So yeah, I think I can safely say that was one damn good day- even though I don't really like Eliza Doolittle that much..
Anyway, here's a few pictures of the new Lulu & Co, who I don't really like that much because to me they seem to be pretty much what you get on the high street. But these are the few that I actually quite like.

Men's clothes aren't usually that interesting to me because well.. I don't wear them. But michael Kampe is just so creative that I couldn't help putting these up. I love the prints of trees in the second photo, especially on the sculptural coat, actually I can't tell if it's a coat or not.

Holiday Time

FINALLY, I'm on holiday! I've got quite a lot of homework though, which kind of ruins it. At least I've got photography, I've got to shoot a role of film this week on The City, which I'm really excited about.
I'm seeing Britain's Next Top Model live tomorrow!  I'm. So. Excited. I'm not sure what to wear.. I'll probably massively over think it all and end up wearing what I tried on in the first place.. oh well, can't be helped.
This is what I wore today.

Shirt- Some vintage shop
Collar- Achichi
Skirt- H&M
Bow- Made by me

I really love these, I think they're from Dazed and Confused. The whole editorial was so well done :)

.. Feeling a bit Dazed & Confused now

I've just spent the last half and hour listening to Beirut whilst skimming through the Dazed & Confused website, Dazed Digital. I'm not usually one to comment on the way websites are designed but Dazed really has done a good job here, they've got such a good website! It makes it impossible to just look at one article, because as soon as you've finished that another just seems to pop up at me out of no where and it's really just impossible to resist.
These photos caught my eye, they're by Gosha Rubchinskiy- a russian photographer/ menswear designer.

However, this is actually a fashion blog and so I guess I should probably post about something fashion related too while I'm here..
It's actually lisbon fashion week at the moment, or rather it's just finished. The thing is, as I was trying to work out who designed a particular outfit in the fashion week, I noticed that a lot of the websites that came up were in Portuguese.. because Lisbon is in portugal. You see I didn't even realize that before. I'm so glad I'm not taking geography GCSE.
Anyway, this are some of the highlights of the week:
(It slightly defeats the point of a fashion blog, but I actually don't know who all of these are by.. Oh well the clothes are what I should enjoy, and not the labels.)

I don't care how much this last one costs, I'm getting it. I love everything about it, the colour, the material, and even the fact that I can't really work out whether it's a long top or a very short dress..

Another thing I found while I was getting lost inside the Dazed website. It's basically something they set up earlier this year, in which they asked the public to illustrate their favorite cover over the last decade. The example shown here is lovely, I sort of wish that I'd know about this earlier as it would have been fun to enter, even though I could never come up with anything as good as that!

R for Rodarte

\

I really really like this collection, especially the shoes, which I Love. Rodarte has really pulled it out the bag here, as I don't know how so many wonderful outfits could fit into one collection!
