Walking in a Winter Wonderland

It's been ages since I sewed anything at all and so this holiday I'm going to make sure I sew LOTS. I'm think think of making another coat, possibly camel? I found a lovely Zenit-e camera hanging around my house not being used and as I have half a photography project due after the holiday, I decided to use it. Unfortunately, that's proving a bit difficult, as I really can't work out how to use it, as it operates completely differently to other film cameras I've used.

It just dawned on me the other day that Christmas is SO CLOSE. In five days it will be christmas eve. In six it will be Christmas day.. And I'm completely unprepared! I don't have an advent calendar or a christmas tree and am pretty certain my parents haven't started christmas shopping yet, but knowing them they will rush out with a few days to go and somehow manage it. I've heard that it's going to snow this christmas, which would of course be Amazing because well snow + christmas = winter wonderland, and this may be wrong but apparently it hasn't snowed on christmas day for something like 60 years!
I borrowed this stripy jumper from a friend the other day and I've been wearing it constantly, because it's the coziest jumper EVER.

From now on, I'll be posting much more often! There's a photography project due so I've been pretty busy lately.
It really is too cold outside to do anything, so unfortunately my outfits have been pretty boring lately.. it's just too cold to face a skirt or really anything that isn't a WARM jumper and jeans. So evidently, there's not much in the way of outfit posts to go here, but my friend Holly made a tumblr recently and it's really good !

How the leopard got his spots

I love these shoes.. Even though they're my second pair of desert boots, but that doesn't really matter because they are very different to my brown ones, mostly in the way that these are fuurrryyy.
I'm going to the protest on Tuesday, and I'm so excited, but that will probably wear off when I get there, because if the police kettle me in I guarantee that I'll cry.

So.. pretty.. can't.. resist.... I have to get these. They were £80, but now they're on sale at £40. It would be an insult to the shoes not to get them.. I'm hopefully having an allowance started any day now and so it won't be too long until I can wear these! It's just so sad because they're not only white but they're lace which means two things: they're incredibly pretty and they'll almost definitely fall apart immediately and get dirty- and I'll cry. 

BUT I've just noticed, whilst stalking the Urban Outfitters website and wishing I could have everything, if I got them in black they would only be £20, and they would take a few minutes longer to be visibly scruffy..

When I saw these in the shop with Holly, I thought ew no I definitely like the white ones more, but now I'm thinking, maybe they are quite cool in black. The word Sale may be clouding my judgment though... I wish I could get both. 

I've got fur fever pretty bad.. I've even actually got a fur bag now, but it doesn't really count becuase it's sheepskin, so it's not like it matches my coat or anything! Anyway, how amazing is this:

LEARNING SHOULDN'T COST.

I definitely don't post enough, I've been getting so sloppy with my posting lately.
Most of the people in the sixth form and year eleven of my school are going on a protest against the raise in university fees, and I want to go, but I'm not allowed to because I'm in year ten, which is so annoying, because they're going to effect me just as much!
